Mrs. Barnett's hometown is Coopertown, Tennessee. She holds a BS degree from Tennesse Tech University in Secondary Education with a major in Mathand a minor in Health and PE. She holds a MA degree from Tennessee State University in Administration and Supervision. She is also Heritage's track and field coach. She is married to her husband Michael and has three children - Kala, Isaac, and Jake. Her favorite pastimes are reading a book in or by the pool, watching football and basketball games, and pkaying and spending time with her children.
