Welcome to Woodall: DARE
D.A.R.E.(Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a ten week program for all fifth grade students.

D.A.R.E. is a collaborative effort between the school, parents, and law enforcement to equip elementary school students with skills to resist drug abuse and violence.

The D.A.R.E. program is usually introduced to children in the 5th grade. A specially trained officer comes into the school one day a week for ten weeks and instructs the children. The officer for RFWE is White House Police Captain Jeff Mingledorff.

RFWE's D.A.R.E. Program also includes an essay contest during the final weeks. One student from each class is chosen as the essay winner. Then one winner is chosen from the top five. The essay winner will read his/her essay during graduation.
